Jacob Garlant
I am a fourth year undergraduate student in the College of Engineering at the University of Arizona. I am in the process of obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering with an emphasis in BioMechanics and minors in Mechanical Engineering and Spanish. In Dr. Slepian's lab, my project consists of working with wireless motion detection skin conformal stamps to create novel solutions to problems regarding movement of the body in today's society. In the future, I hope to further my education with a Masters in Science degree of Orthotics and Prosthetics. Eventually, I would like to take my knowledge and training to underserved Spanish-speaking countries to provide healthcare to underprivileged populations.
