Many unmet needs persist in health care, with more uncovered every day. ACABI exists to address those needs, broadly across the biomedical arena, and in particular for heart, lung and blood disorders, which are the leading cause of death in the United States and around the world.
Identifying & Prioritizing Unmet Needs
ACABI works with physicians, care administrators and front-line medical workers to continuously understand and catalog unmet needs. Prioritizing those needs is a primary function in the structure of the Center, a prerequisite to the solution-focused "churn" of its Creativity Engine.
On the whole, the world's medical need is overwhelming, even paralyzing. But by systematically processing those needs, ACABI can effectively map those needs to practical therapeutics, novel diagnostics, novel biomarker strategies, new pharmaceutics and more.
