Emily Evans
I am a fourth year undergraduate student in the biomedical engineering program at the University of Arizona. I am seeking my Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering with an emphasis on biomechanics. In addition to my engineering courses, I also study Spanish and Italian as language minors. I work in Dr. Slepian's lab as part of a team developing a method of helminth therapy administration as a novel treatment for common autoimmune and allergic disorders. I will further my education and obtain my Master's degree in biomedical engineering following graduation and I hope to continue to implement both my engineering and language skills to participate in the global effort to improve human health.
